Life once bustled here: engineers and astronomers were building the first ROT-54 radio-optical telescope, a grand Soviet-era project aimed straight at the stars. Its antenna, as large as two nine-storey buildings, still impresses with its scale and grandeur.

🪪 Access to this territory requires special permission, giving us a rare opportunity to see a place that is usually inaccessible. Among the hills and wind, the atmosphere of great discoveries remains.

We will explore the grounds of the former antenna measurement institute, look into old laboratories and see instruments and structures that became part of scientific history.
