"Ara, pa sti pen kini?" is a theatrical performance staged in the dialects of Artsakh, created to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Artsakh.
After the wars of 2020 and 2023 and the complete displacement of Artsakh, its rich cultural heritage faced the threat of extinction.
Aware of this danger, Dizak Art initiated the staging of "Ara, pa sti pen kini?" as part of the "Ktseg" Artsakh Dialects Promotion project.
Based on a work by Al. Manasyan, this play is directed by Srbuhi Balayan, a teacher at the Dizak Art Center. It brings Artsakh’s dialects, customs, and traditions to life.
The dialectal speech, folk games, proverbs, and traditional rituals featured in the performance serve as tools for preserving identity.
Meanwhile, the costumes and stage design inspired by Artsakh allow the audience to experience the spirit of Artsakh and be transported there in their imagination.
