Khachaturian: Symphony with Bells | Timothy Ridout, Armenian State Symphony Orchestra

On December 9, as part of the 14th Khachaturian International Festival, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will present a program where Eastern musical accents meet one of the most powerful works of Armenian symphonic music.

 

The soloist of the evening is internationally acclaimed violist, Timothy Ridout.

- Tollib Shakhidi: “Taj Mahal”, Symphonic Raga (10 min);

- Tollib Shakhidi: Viola Concerto (25 min);

Intermission

- Aram Khachaturian: Symphony No. 2 in E minor, “Symphony with Bells” (50 min).
