The Autumn of the Patriarch

Hello! We are the Arten Theatre team, and we invite you to Ulyana Kirpichenko’s one-woman performance based on the novel of the same name by G. G. Márquez.
Who holds power?
Governments, corporations, the internet, society?
Power on Earth appears as a strange geometric figure: several corners of global force and a thousand-line network between them. Yet its nature remains unchanged at every point.
Gabriel García Márquez’s The Autumn of the Patriarch tells of a man whose tiny body could not withstand the weight of this power. The abstract dictator becomes the embodiment of a force that destroys everyone, including himself.
